Everything here is a real ingredient you can find in a normal shop. Nothing artificial, no powders pretending to be sugar. Here is the full list, with the quantities I actually use.
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup chopped roasted peanuts
- ½ cup dark chocolate, melted
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
How to make it
Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.

Fold in the peanut butter until fully combined.

Fold the honey through, then smooth the mixture into one even flat layer.

Sprinkle the chopped peanuts evenly over the top.

Pour the melted dark chocolate over and spread it to the edges.
Refrigerate 1 hour until set, then scoop or break into pieces.

Keep it covered in the fridge and it will hold for three to four days. If you are making it ahead, hold back any fresh topping until just before you serve so nothing goes soft. Most of these freeze well too, wrapped tight, for up to three months.
